In early April, Eyes Wide Open held an exhibition at the Seattle Center. 1546 pairs of combat boots were lined up each pair representing one of the fallen US troops in the war in Iraq. The whole display took up roughly the area of a basketball court. Regardless of your political opinion or your opinion on the Iraq war it does bring a different perspective on the human cost of war. |
