Fall, 2000

This picture is actually a part of a homework assignment for an Experimental College photography class I took this Fall. The assignment was to take a picture of rain. Well, that should be pretty easy being in Seattle. But, of course, it only rained at night for the whole two weeks we had to complete the assignment. But then one just have use a little creativity... :-)

My new car. The Audi broke down (foreign crap!) This time I bought domestic: Chevrolet Camaro, 5.0L, V8, 5-speed manual. Nice set of wheels...
By the way, Mt. Rainier is just barely visible in the background.

Fall Colors in the Arboretum.

About three minutes bike ride away from my home is the Arboretum. It's a park with all kinds of different plants. Among other things there is a Japanese garden. Another part of the park is a Rhododendron collection. They claim to have several hundred species of Rhododendron there. Quite impressive.

Mocha The Dane.

My parents' kitten. According to the latest news it should have become quite a bit bigger since this picture was taken. Lately they've had to put it on a diet. The Vet claimed that if it didn't start eating fat free food it might end up weighing 18lbs (8kg)! It's up to about 10lbs (4.5kg) at the moment...
