After living in denial for a number of years, swearing that I would never convert to digital, I finally caved in and bought a digital SLR camera. I must say that this fancy new digital technology is quite amazing and that the image quality of a prosumer digital SLR is nothing short of stunning. So stunning in fact that after spending 9-10 months with the new toy, I didn't use any of my film cameras.... So I sold them. While going through my stuff prior to the sale, I found a few assorted rolls of unprocessed film. Some of it dates back to Fall of 2003. I had the film processed and the results are shown below. I have one roll of film left in my life. It sits in my Rollei 35. I started shooting it last Spring. The frame counter reads 5. Wonder how long it will take before I get that roll shot and processed... |

This shows up in my neighborhood every year around Halloween and sticks around until after Thanksgiving. Must be the Thanksgiving Turkey from Hell or something... ;-) |

One of the bookstores on The Ave used to have a kitty in the window. I managed to snap a shot of it before the place went out of business. |
